Issues

Balanced Energy

We live in an increasingly complex world in which reliance on foreign energy sources is a threat to our energy security -- and national security.

Domestic Energy

The demand for oil and natural gas is rising fast -- here in New Hampshire, and across the globe. The U.S. Energy Information Administration estimates that the world will need an expansion of about 24.5 million barrels of oil per day just to keep up with global economic growth. Natural gas demand is also expected to increase by 45 percent between now and 2035.

Energy Security

Live Free or Die. In New Hampshire, that statement is more than just a state nickname -- it's a way of life. So it's no surprise that an increasing number of New Hampshire citizens are looking for solutions to help America declare its energy independence.

Energy Taxes

At a time when America needs economic stability and increased energy security, the government should not impose new taxes and fees on the oil and natural gas industry.

National Energy Issues

The United States' energy demand is projected to grow through 2030, and America is striving to meet its growing energy demands with all viable sources, including fossil fuels, renewables and alternative energy supplies.
